Up to 15,000 finance jobs were created across the North West last year
Over 15,000 high-value jobs in the financial and related professional services industries have been created across the North West last year, a very recent news report in the local business media has been able to reveal.
TheCityUK’s Finance for Growth in the UK report has found that the North West remains the second largest regional financial centre after the South East outside of London with a 227,300-strong workforce.
In 2013, it contributed £13.9bn to the regional economy, which is equivalent to 9.7 per cent of regional gross value added.
