Timber Coaters expands its Wirral workshop
Mobile timber coatings business Timber Coaters Ltd has just agreed to a five-year lease on a 4,736 sq ft unit at Old Hall Industrial Estate on Wrynose Road, Bromborough on the Wirral, Merseyside, effectively doubling the size of its workshop.
According to a news report in the local media, the business was previously based elsewhere in the Wirral and relocated to support a significant increase in production for its items, which are used by the housebuilding sector.
Graeme Thomas, director of Timber Coaters, said: "The housebuilding industry is experiencing an upturn after reporting six straight months of increased activity. This has also had a major positive impact on our business with sales doubling in recent months.
"We had outgrown our previous premises and, as the estate is just a short drive from our previous facility, the move caused minimal disruption for our employees and customers."
