Restaurant chain Pesto to create 400 new jobs as part of its expansion plans
Manchester-headquartered restaurant chain Pesto is aiming to create 400 new jobs over the next 12 months as part of its expansion plans, a news report in the local media has revealed.
As the company reveals, the new jobs will be required as Pesto plans to open ten more restaurants by late 2014. The chain already includes 10 restaurants and has around 500 employees.
Co-owner Neil Gatt said: "With this investment we are hoping to breathe new life into the pub/restaurant dining scene and bring our unique concept to even more customers. We’re very excited to announce the news that we hope to duplicate our portfolio next year with these ten openings and look forward to hopefully hitting 1,000 employees by the end of 2014."
