Refrigerated vehicle specialist creates new jobs following relocation

A Burnley-based refrigerated vehicle specialist has recorded a jobs growth of 67 per cent over the last 12 months following its relocation to their new 45,000 sq ft premises, a business news report has revealed.

Established in 2005, CoolKit provides a range of refrigerated vans, fridge van conversions and van insulating kits. The company is based at Unit 6 of Farrington Place and currently employs more than 70 staff on its 2.5-acre site.

With many new large contracts underway, the increase in manufacturing capacity has also helped CoolKit to further improve order turnaround times thanks to enhanced processes and increased vehicle holding capacity.
