Proximity read clock on technology reads through a wallet in quarter of a second

The biggest area to suffer from job cuts at a defence giant will be the North West, at sites in Warton, Preston and Samlesbury in Lancashire. These include 565 at the BAE Systems plant in Samlesbury, 843 at Warton and at Preston a further 21 will go at a nearby office supply centre. A local resident, who has lived in Warton for the past 44 years, said: “Personally I’ve always said that if British Aerospace goes, Warton will die.”
