Multiple new jobs to be created at Liverpool Gin Distillery
Multiple new jobs are set to be created as Liverpool Gin has outlined plans to open a new distillery in the city, a news report in the local business media has revealed.
The £1m development will comprise two bars, a gin lab and a bartender school. Set to open towards the end of 2018, it will also create 20 jobs.
Lee Tayburn, operations director at Halewood Wines & Spirits, commented: "People all over the world love gin and we’re creating a destination, which will sit alongside other Liverpool attractions, to bring increased visitors to the city.
"The Liverpool Gin Distillery will add value to the city’s food and drink scene, engaging locals as well as providing another reason for people to visit Liverpool. It’s a hub for bar talent and we can help to develop a new generation of world-class mixologists from our purpose-built school."
