Manufacturer of point of sale display products to create new jobs near Stockport

UK Point of Sale, a designer and manufacturer of point of sale display products, has revealed plans to invest £4.5m in a 47,000 sq ft office and manufacturing facility on Bredbury Park Industrial Estate, near Stockport, creating more than 20 jobs in the process, a news report in the local business media has revealed.

Jason Leslie, managing director, said: "We have seen steady growth over the past five years, despite the recession, and have outgrown our current two sites in Heaton Mersey.

"We have significantly expanded our client base in the UK and overseas during the past two years and international orders now account for ten per cent of our sales – which we aim to grow even further. We are also striving to increase our online sales from 19 per cent to more than 30 per cent of our total sales over the next 12 months.

"We are recruiting for a number of roles across sales, warehousing and distribution as part of this development and we are looking forward to continuing to grow our business in our home town of Stockport."
