Home furnishing retailer to open new Wirral store

A well-known UK home furnishing retailer has revealed plans to open a new store on the Wirral, in Bromborough, on Boxing Day 2015, a recent news report in the local business media has been able to find.

ScS made the announcement in an AGM statement ahead of its annual meeting where it revealed that like-for-like order intake including House of Fraser has progressed as expected and is up by 8 per cent in the 16 weeks ending 14 November 2015.

The business said: "We continue to look forward to the year ahead and beyond with confidence."

In the year to 25 July 2015, revenue at ScS grew 13.4 per cent to £276.7m, up from £244.1m a year earlier.”
