£55m regeneration scheme for Lytham St Annes revealed
A former Department for Work and Pensions site in Lytham St Annes is set to undergo a major redevelopment project, which will see it turned into a top-range housing and supermarket complex.
The regeneration scheme is worth £55m and will be led by Worthington Properties. It will comprise 162 houses, a Booths food store, pub, village green and retirement home. 30 of the houses will be built by Hollinwood Homes, Worthington Properties’ residential development arm, while the remainder will be built by Cheshire-based Morris Homes.
Development director Russell Worthington said: "We have put a regeneration plan forward which will see a neglected and derelict site brought back into use. This scheme will support our desire to create a bold, vibrant new community which will benefit the wider area and stimulate the local economy for years to come."
