Drinks manufacturer to open multiple new stores after securing growth fund investment

A Manchester-headquartered drinks manufacturer will open up to eight new stores and create multiple new jobs after securing a follow-on investment from the Business Growth Fund (BGF), a news report in the local business media has found.

TD4 Brands, the owner of the Boost Juice Bars and Shake Lab brands, is on course to achieve sales in excess of £13m this year, up from £5m in 2013 when the BGF first invested in the company.

Since 2013, TD4 Brands has increased the number of Boost Juice Bars from ten to 32, and introduced its milkshake brand the Shake Lab to Manchester’s Trafford Centre. Boost now has a franchise network of more than 400 stores worldwide, with the Trafford Centre branch established as the busiest Boost Juice Bar globally.

Richard O’Sullivan, chief executive of TD4 Brands, said: "Three years on from their original investment, we are really pleased that BGF shows continued support and confidence in the successful expansion of our company. It’s a great example of both the business and the investors delivering on their promises."
