Manchester-based cyber security business to go on hiring spree

A Manchester-headquartered IT cyber security business has revealed plans to create more than 60 local jobs, a recent news article in the local business media has been able to reveal.

NCC Group plans to hire 100 staff in its software testing division, with 65 of those at its head office.

The roles will include test analysts to senior test managers and cover functional, automation and performance testing. NCC said the move follows high demand from clients for its testing services.

Bob Dowson, operational director at NCC, said: "The new jobs will further increase the department’s delivery capability. We are committed to an onshore model and this growth will provide us with an enhanced delivery capacity across the UK.

"The new roles will be based in a number of locations throughout the country, which allows us to be fully responsive to our clients requirements and continue to deliver testing excellence onshore.

"This is an exciting time within IT development and we are seeing a significant demand for our services which gives us the great opportunity of creating new roles here in the UK."
