Bentley Motors to create up to 141 new jobs in Crewe
One of the best-known luxury car makers in the UK, Bentley Motors, has revealed plans to create more than 141 new jobs at its headquarters in Crewe, bolstering the local economy and facilitating the intake of apprentices.
A total of 90 engineers and 51 apprentices will be recruited to work on an expanding range, as part of an £800n investment over three years on model and facility development, a news report in the local media could reveal.
Forty apprentices will be part of a new manufacturing scheme focused on strengthening core skills as Bentley builds up to the introduction of the Bentley SUV in 2016.
In a statement, the manufacturer said: "The new engineers will help develop a new generation of Bentleys, which will share the same commitment to performance, quality and engineering excellence.
"Bentley is not just creating a new segment with the Bentley SUV, but developing its current model range, innovating with new products and new markets."
