Former mill site in Barrowford to be redeveloped into residential properties

Construction work has begun on a new development comprising 14 new homes, located on the site of the former Caldervale Mill in Barrowford, a news report in the local media has revealed.

The properties are being developed by Harbur Construction on behalf of Rainbow Homes, while Hurd Rolland Partnership was in charge of designing the three-bedroom, four-storey homes.

Phil Newton, business development manager at Harbur Construction, said: "This scheme will provide some much needed family homes for this rural Pendle village and will transform this former brownfield site, which was fast becoming an eyesore for nearby residents. This is our first partnership with Rainbow Homes, and we look forward to working together on this scheme and in the future."
