Electronic clocking in procedure makes employees’ jobs easier
Cheshire East Council has axed all its management jobs following the failure of a proposed recycling centre at Lyme Green. Plans for this venture were scrapped, at a cost of £800,000 to the taxpayer, it has been revealed. A report published in 2012 found work started on the plant before appropriate planning permissions were in place. Building activity started on the site near Macclesfield on October 24, 2011, but a planning application was not sent until November 16.
Time and attendance tracking systems from Time and Attendance North West make the jobs of both your payroll team and managing your employees easier. From the employee’s point of view, an electronic clocking in procedure will actually make their jobs easier since they no longer have to manually keep track of their hours and attendance. Of course, they’ll need to remember to clock in and out but overall once they get used to the system they may even find it a bit liberating.
