A North-West based gang were sent to jail after a metal theft raid. Michael Seward of Old Lane, Little Hulton pleaded guilty to burglary and was jailed for three years. Martin Gavin of Hope Hey Lane, Little Hulton was convicted of the same offence after a trial and given three and a half years behind bars. Ross Cahill of East Lancashire Road, Swinton got three years for burglary and 12 months for attempting to pervert the course of justice, to run concurrently.
