Contactless key fobs save time as they don’t need to be removed from a purse

A factory in Barrow may be saved from a shutdown. The industrial town and port site currently is a base of Remploy which helps give work to disabled folk. Birkenhead, Bolton, Manchester, Oldham, Pontefract, Preston, Wigan and Worksop are other Remploy sites in the region which are under threat of closure because they are losing money. Remploy, which employs thousands, says it has received bids for eight other factories as well as Barrow. Workers are currently on a 24-hour strike.
