Ten crews were required to tackle a blaze which broke out about 13:00 BST at the mill at Calderbrook Road in Littleborough on Monday (May 28). The fire service said it received more than 60 calls reporting the fire. The fire was so fierce since it was involving silos of solvents acting as fuel at the mill. Two people have been treated for injuries at the incident, the North West Ambulance Service said.
