Employees able to get different absence entitlements such as allowed sickness

The Sellafield nuclear reprocessing site could be hit by strike action according to the union Unite. The site close to the village of Seascale on the Cumbrian coast would be affected by walkouts of electricians, plumbers and engineers who are members of the union. They have voted in favour of strikes over pay and conditions. Unite said 67% of voters, which was a total of 295 members, backed action in re-ballot that followed a legal challenge to an earlier vote.
