A man was shot in the side on a Maghull industrial estate on Wednesday. Police were summoned to a car park in the Sefton Lane Industrial Estate in Maghull on Merseyside at about 16:50 GMT, after shots had been heard in the area. A 23-year-old man arrived at hospital with suspected bullet wounds shortly afterwards. The scene was cordoned off while forensic tests took place and police are appealing for witnesses.
